What's on your mind?

I can't post video of another kid so you can ether take my word for it that it was in this range of clearance or not. But the point really isn't even about illegal pitching, it is about how coaches conduct themselves when they have a disagreement with an ump. Whether it is the zone, a bad call whatever...I guess a lot of folks are OK with game long rants from coaches. If this gasbag had ranted all game long about a tight or loose zone I would have posted the same thing because he was over the top and I think that is just lame.

Totally different argument when you are talking about strike zones....they go both ways. Both teams can take advantage of an umpire's strike zone. A umpire that doesn't call IPs gives an advantage to only one team....you can't tell your own pitcher to start pitching illegally.

The argument that complaining gives your hitters excuses to fail is stupid. The batters could give a crap what they call and don't call because they can't see the IP from their vantage point anyway.

When umps wouldn't call IPs on opposing pitchers, I would have my pitcher start from 6" in front of the pitcher's plate until they realized it. If they called my kid for an IP, I would ask why my pitcher can't start from that point when he/she is allowing the opposing pitcher.
