My DD is a '00 pitcher. She thinks a lighter glove may improve her speed a little. Her glove is a 13" Easton Natural elite, which was good for her when in the outfield, but probably a little too big/bulky for a pitcher. I would like to get some recommendations on which glove is the lightest available. I did a little research, but most glove manufacturers aren't listing the weight of the glove as a spec. on their websites.
We did look at Nokona gloves, saw the Buckaroo 12.5" - listed as 650grams on their website. After holding both gloves in 1 hand, it feels a little lighter than her Easton 13", but barely. (maybe only because 12.5 vs 13"?)
Kelley, G-lyte series are marketed as light, but they list no weight specs on their website. Worth is the same, no weights listed.
If anyone could make some recommendations, I would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
