LoL. Good one PDad. Cute. Watched it in the car on the way to the game. We had a good chuckle.
Our first game last night was against Socal Puma's. Well coached team and very dissaplined. We lost 4-0 to them. Our bats where slept. Two put outs on one missed by umpy but otherwise they truly earned the win.
2nd game against CA Thunder and the umpires. Yes, they decided to join in and win the game. Unbelievable calls that cost us the game. We managed to rally back to a 1 run differential but ran out time. Pitcher went in to cover throw from catcher on a pass ball, one run had scored and she was tagging the second runner. Caught her but umpire called obstruction and allowed the run to score as the pitcher is standing straddled over home plate. Coach calls time and is conferring with the ump when the other team decides to send runner on third home. Pitcher jumps in to make the tag and gets spiked by runner in the hand. Some other bad calls like HBP when he ball went of the batters bat. Unless she has a titanium hand that goes ting.
Base tells plate ump that it was the wrong call, and plate ump says that if the coach had come out nicely, he would have reversed the call. After one of the parents over hears the comment, he chirps the ump " better learn your job first before you cash your paycheck ”. Was so frustrated by the calls. Umpire turns around and tells him that we should go home.
Loss was 7-6.
Today is another day. If we loose, I hope it's from our own doing.
