Sam is correct. Most of the time PGF/ASA choose to release players when they receive an appeal.

Which is why I have been making the point that getting a third party, PGF in this case, is going to be hard. There are just to many subtle important details.

When this comes to the organization it often comes down to:
- Does the player leaving the team shut the team down?
- How many are on the roster now?
- Dear parent what happened?
- Dear coach what happened?
The first question is usually answered with a no. The second question is so relative as we have already dissected. The third and fourth questions are answered with a never ending stream of he said/she said. If you are not involved the whole time it will all resemble pure flat white noise.

So when faced with "ruining" a kids year, and not really harming a team, they typically allow the player to play.
