True dat. Some schools create mass email lists from team profile sheets they collected and then try to make the emails sound personalized (e.g. we saw you at xxxx), but they're fairly easy to uncover by checking with teammates to see how many also received one. I remember one in particular that feigned interest in DD and I knew they already had 2 pitchers committed from her class. The more reliable invites are passed through your coach.
