Spikes (Cleats)? What age, etc?

Hi,

What age can girls wear metal spikes?

Does it vary by where they play (i.e. Rec ball vs travel or which part of the state/country)?

I am pretty sure girls can wear them in HS, but please confirm.

(FYI, I live in SoCal)

Spikes in HS and from 14u on up in PGF. Rec leagues and other associations would all make their own rules so check with them.

As of last year, ASA also allows metal cleats in 14U.
