Wife has some...for HS Ball...She has 2 old issue GI wool blankets...Wool blankets, covered by windproof poncho liner...Lifes good...still bothers me when wife has US showing...old habit...
Had a Dad once laugh about the Old Army blankets...until I showed him the power of wool...Then he wanted me to give him one...Uh...No:-)

Wool doesn't rot, retains it loft even when damp, and doesn't hold odors...

Also keep an old e-tool in the trunk.. My wife and kids laughed at me(until the time we "almost" go stuck"

I asked the question because,,,,,
Are parents smarter now!!!
Do they want to miss out on Rec. ball.?? Do they know better?
If they are,,well,, they are missing out on a fun part of growing with sport.
A lot can be learned from the Rec. ball years..
Was it because of area,,,maybe Rec. ball in their area sucks.. ? or have none.
It just seems like a fun age,,,,, why do 'travel ball'.?
YOU CAN'T COMMIT BEFRE 14!!!
Why commit to a sport before 8.
I was just asking.....
I see further, because I stand on the shoulders of giants
