Show Ball softball camp

What's on your mind?

by lvtwft » Tue Apr 30, 2013 10:15 pm

Was asked by a friend if this camp is any good.
Any one have dealings with them before, if so how are they?
Looks like out of the teams they have said are going, 10 or so are good programs.
Thanks ahead of time

Took my DD to Vegas last year. It was a cattle call- the coaches they said would be there
where there. The Coaches my daughter was interested in she did not drill in front of or play for. They were always on opposing field, Just lucky that way I suppose. It was a good learning
experience but not enough bang for the multi bucks they charge.

Sean, one of my dds, would strike out with out anyone seeing her, would homer will everyone looking, would make a horrendous error with no one looking and make ESPN plays with everyone watching. The other dd, caught mono before her soph-junior summer, even then at Boulder threw a perfect game - without a soul watching, the next day with 5 coaches from some of the most well known softball schools in the country, walked 3 kids in two innings, (she did not know that anyone was watching her - just the way it happened) then when a coach came and asked to see her at short stop, her travel coach refused and played a girl who had been on his team much longer who had paid serious money to be on the team. Everything happens for a reason.
