Yes. Quite a few players go to Japan, heard of some in Europe, think they go wherever they can make money.

Quite a few players go to Japan, heard of some in Europe, think they go wherever they can make money.


It may have changed, but DD had a pitching coach that played in Europe. There wasn't much money but it was the opportunity to live and travel in Europe for a season that was the appeal

Pay is low- but usually includes room and board(nice deal in Italy) Many teams have spring training in Malta

Nice thing for a resume- worked a summer in Italy with an International Staff!

I just figured out what Apple could do with some of its $137 billion. How about sponsor a NorCal NPF team, since they sure aren't doing anything for their stockholders at the moment!
