Im a smoker. I will smoke in the parking lot, but the pack never leaves the truck. I have made bad decisions in my life, but I dont need to put it out in the open around the kids. What kind of role model would I be if I lit one up around them? If you see me in the parking lot puffing, it's because I didn't see you drive up or get out. Believe me i'm on the lookout for you.

I've been on the other side of this. I sometimes smoke cigars between games away from the field. Had a coach and pitcher come out to where I was alone smoking, start warming up to pitch and then yell at me about smoking around the kid. Did I mention that they were still 40-50 feet away from me? Really? The tobacco Nazis know no bounds when it comes to spewing their hatred for us proponents of life, liberty and the produce of one f^cking place we can smoke in peace.

Sam I am with you. I too like a cigar once in a while. I would have told them to call the cigar police or that it was medicinal herbs you were smoking to control the rage issues

I ALWAYS try to find time to have a quality cigar at the ball field. Try to stay down wind from the girls and out of the mainstream so not to bother. Hope you don't mind if I use that line next time.
