ASA Gold Stats - Only from HOF Complex Games

What's on your mind?

by 93players » Mon Jul 30, 2012 2:28 pm

I am so disappointed that no one at the ASA bothered to enter the stats of the games played at the other complex. That makes the HOF stats on line completely misleading. You cannot tell whose players had the best stats in the tourney when they only have one complex's games. I would remove the stats or at least take the ranking feature out. Those stats were always interesting to compare because the competition is pretty uniformly solid.

I am so disappointed because...

...you're whining again. Just because DD didn't get her stats posted doesn't constitute panties up your (or my) crack. Chill and be glad you were there...

93 makes a good point, why do anything is your not going to do it 100%. ASA should have sent people out to the other fields for stats and the live updates. I think the teams not playing at the main complex paid the same amount for the tournament.

In the end ASA should have provided this service for every game. I know I would have enjoyed live games updates from every where.

Me too. I had friends on those fields and never was able to keep up with them.

I am amazed- in his day and age with "an app for everything" that all tournaments(not just the big one's) do not track everything online. In excusable for any "National" tournament. It would make updates, field locations, opponents etc..... that much easier to track. Would also be great for those that are following at home. I am sure that you would be able to find several parents(if you did not have tourn. officials) at every game willing to track what's going on

I'm amazed that the management at HB doesn't have their 'app' yet.

Opportunity lost...

I'm sure the stats from random people keeping score would be meaningful - just like HS stats. Other than stats, it would be great.

PGF hired scorekeepers in the past. Are they using paid scorekeepers again this year?
