NCAA Contact Period - What does this mean?

October 10th through November 2nd is this fall's NCAA Contact Period within which college coaches can search for those players who fit their program. I have a website that offers insight an advice for YOU parents, coaches and student-athletes based on my experience as a college athlete and 13-year Division 1 coach.

Here is an excerpt from this week's discussion about Preparing for the Showcases:

"You may not make every defensive play and you may not hit perfectly for the weekend, but you can CONTROL your level of hustle, your communication and leadership on the field, your respect of the coaches and umpires, and your poise during tough situations."
