There is no such legal entity as a fastpitch glove or a slowpitch glove. There are baseball gloves and softball gloves, only because softball gloves require a larger pocket. Any glove that doesn't exceed the dimensions specified in the rulebooks is legal for use. ASA, NFHS, and NCAA dimensions are the same (ASA has more listed specific measurements, NFHS and NCAA list only the major dimensions). The manufacturers may separate the gloves for marketing purposes, but there is no legal description.

NCAA has no limit to the size glove/mitt that can be used by a catcher. There are limitations as to colors (how many, pitcher's, if logos, markings and laces count as colors) that differ between the organizations.

Arto's previous comment may have been in response to a query I had made a while back ... As I remember, a model glove I was looking for was only available in a slow pitch model ... After researching, same same ... just marketing ...
