Some teams are more oriented towards hitting power, while others are more towards hitting for placement. This ball would heavily favor placement hitting team.

Another example is some slappers are really trying to aim the ball to where the defense is missing. Other slappers try to drive the hard ball into the ground and beat out the hop.

Next we'll see rosters bloating up to 30 players, each a specialist based on BMF (Ball Mush Factor) and what inning your playing.
Ladies, if a man tells you he will fix it, he will fix it. There is no reason to remind him about it every six months.

If the chosen balls breakdown quickly, they will need to be able to verify that the foul ball being tossed back in was the actual one being played. Teams will start keeping their own supply of new balls to toss back in to play in the later innings, when they are at bat, older ones to put into play when they are on defense. I’ve seen this before, when the differences were slight.

New coaching assignments:
– Asst. Coach in Charge of New Ball Scuffing
- Asst. Coach in Charge of Old Ball Washing
We may need to change those names. Not sure they are appropriate.

by the way, as a pitcher's dad, I'm all for balls that break down quickly and don't travel far....my kid gives up enough long balls as it is...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.
