Does anyone know what's up with the drastic drop in price on the Nanotek? Are they being discontinued or something?

Prices are down on the 2011 and OG 2010 Nanos because the new 2012 model is a two-piece bat with a composite handle but the same Nano barrel. The new handle reduces sting and allowed ABC flexibility to engineer a -12 Nano for FP and an endloaded Omega version of the Nano for the SP game. They didn't think there would be enough demand to produce a Nano Omega for FP, which made me Anderson currently is in the process of testing RTs and TZs with the composite handle.

DD was using it for a while. Tried everything and the "POP" was just not there. I imagine that's why the prices went down....anyone experience the same thing?

The 2011 NFP was not for everyone. There was an adjustment necessary to make good use of the sweetspot that is a bit closer toward the barrel end. Girls who made the adjustment loved the bat. Those who didn't, didn't. The 2012 NFP is completely redesigned. It will satisfy a bigger segment of the market with a sweetspot that is lower and bigger.
