Any good suggestions for fundraising?? Looking for something that could bring in some good money.

Multiple Super Bowl pools are always decent. Have several for different prices per square...ie $100 pool, $50 pool, and a $25 pool. The game is Feb. 3rd...

Load up your team with 16 ++ players, anything after 12 are your fundraisers, and thats NO JOKE!

Have you tried sponsorships? Many teams use banners as well as links on their websites. If the team has a non-profit status as an organization it can be real selling point to potential sponsors

A simple little letter produced results for us. We sent it to business in our local area that we frequented. Dentists, doctors, etc.

We have had the same dentists and doctors for about 10 years, so they knew our family and we have spent plenty of money with them. They were more than happy to make a sponsorship donation. Make it clear that they get the tax write off and continued loyalty from your family.

Golf Tournament - you can charge to play, for hole sponsorships, sell mulligans & on course beverages, hold an auction afterwards, have a raffle, etc. In fund raising speak, lots of channels for money...

every one I've ever had to participate in or help run has cleared at least $10K...but they are a lot of work and planning.

I know one team in another state held a couple of bingo tournaments every year. they had their own custom bus for travel. Probably an indication of how well those worked for raising money.

Our kids were shaking the can at the local supermarket last weekend and will do so again this weekend. This supermarket permits groups to fundraise adjacent to their exit and entry doors, provided the groups fundraising allow their customers easy ingress/egress. The cost is $0, upfront risk $0 and the proceeds are 100% profit.

Hours for shaking the can are 8AM-4 PM. Each set of girls takes a 2 hour shift. A minimum of one parent stays with the girls to insure thy are safe and not harrassed.

So far, so good.

Golf Tournament know doubt... All work done before tournament starts then it is cadallic.. Check with your local golf course to get specfics on costs. Easy 10K with each kid getting 4- 4somes and 2 hole sponsers.
