Just what I was thinking when I heard that. And who's to say that the bat actually is illegal (i.e., too hot) at that point? It's not like there will be a way to verify it. Sounds like planned obsolescence to me.

I guess your post is directed at my comment regarding Anderson bats. I was replying to the previous poster that praised Anderson's customer service and quality which I did not dispute. They have a great reputation in the market. I have no problem with Anderson, I believe they make a fine product, it's just not for everybody, that's all.

As far as beating the dead horse over JE's lack of voting, baseball and softball's demise from the Olympics was a foregone conclusion. Study the time line and you will see how things transpired.

And you are correct, JE's vote has not and will not have any bearing on which piece of sports equipment I purchase.

Their synergy line of 1 piece composites have had no problems and continue to perform well on the field.

Oh and by the way, DD has had rocket techs and pummeled them within a few weeks with
"performance waves" rendering them useless.

Techzilla, Synergy, Rocket tech, etc.. all the top of the line bats perform (if legal) at about the max 98 mph.

In the lab, their performance is at about the same level.

So you have a choice as to what color she likes or the bat de jour.

Real test is quality.

Stealth has MAJOR issues. Phoenix has issues. I've not seen any probs with Anderson bats (since the great rivet debacle) or Synergy or Techzilla.

If you had probs with Rocket techs, thats nothing but 1 report.. many others, including top d1 do fine with them.

If there was a truly #1 legal bat.

EVERY top player would be using the exact same bat.

So, with all that, its appropriate to at least mention eastons major part in getting softball dumped from the Olympics... since many other bats are as good or better.
