Little League Softball World Series

Comparing LL to ASA (or USSSA, PONY, etc) TB is just apples and oranges. For perspective, the geographic requirements of LL would be similar to comparing a medium to large HS team to ASA Gold or Premier at 18U. It just isn't the same. We've had LL teams (Little League 12u, Big League 14u and Senior League 18u) from our area go to state, regional and even the world series in the last 3 or 4 years, and it is a HUGE deal for the girls. Would they beat a top ten team at ASA or PGF Nationals, not likely, but again it's apples and oranges. It's a big deal for the small community from which they come, and who they represent. I am just glad there is girls fastpitch on TV. Congratulation to all LL teams that made it to the LLWS, what an awesome experience for the girls and their families.
