So let me ask you Rich, why are you not talking about the teams you been on. Like firecrackers or Wicked. Don't get caught up in the hype people feed you. just talk from your personal experience.

..teams I've been on (like Firecrackers)? Sure, I see Lahners name on the anger management list, but I don't see anyone on here who feels the need to come to his rescue...so what would you like me to say? I just thought it was funny how cjs50 consistantly felt the need to post with comments that sounded a little unrealistic to anyone who's been around long enough to watch Amie from across the dirt for the past 2 to 3 years. Let me remind you...the topic was anger management...nobody said she was a bad person, nobody said she was a bad coach...she simply made the list because she has a reputation for having a bad temper and she's been known to blow up at times....would you say that is untrue?? As far as speaking from my own "personal experience"...I've seen Amie (and Phil..and Jesse..and Ken) lose it at times..I've seen this in person with my own two eyes...does that qualify as personal experience? Or do I have to have played on their teams to be able to form an opinion?? Let me know...

Heard through the rumor mill that Ken busted the Firecracker flag after they went out 0 and 2 and told his team they didn't deserve to be Firecrackers... Truth or Lie? Also the TNL coach was dropping F-bombs while coaching 3rd and asked a player if she can do anything right...Don't know his name, but perhaps he needs to be on the list.... Also through the rumor mill, Aime Steward actually sat on her behind while coaching a base during a game and told her team to give her a reason to stand up.... Truth or Lie?

Of course it was interesting. At the tournament, Batbusters were winning 12-0 in the third inning and Jesse decided to go for the mercy and get his kids out of the 113 degree heat. Lil Saints parents were calling him "Bush", etc. My feelings were at a National Tournament, you have to consider your kids not the other team and if you can get them out of the heat..do it. But by the time I walked across the park..the story was that he ran up the score 30-0, etc.

I truly owe Jesse from OCBB an apology. I walked away from the game in the 2nd inning when the score was 12 zip OCBBs. I came back, and saw a 1 on the scoreboard (in place of the 12). I overheard someone talking to the scorekeeper, commenting on the one saying, what it doesn't go that high" I saw continued bunting and stealing and was disgusted. I shared my disgust. Several minutes after the game ended, I learned the scorekeeper had to reset the scoreboard and the score was only 16-0 ( a mercy). Although I tried to correct my error, Jesse was already under attack. Bottom line, I owe Jesse an apology and learned a valuable lesson. Sorry Jesse and congrats on your standings at W.Nationals.

No apology needed...this coach would run up the score in a meaningless friendly,bunts, steals,delayed steals and continue to yell at his players the entire time.When you have a weaker team on the ropes that's the time to get all your players some tournament innings and get some of your starters in the shade,but the only player on the team that he cares about is his own DD.You can't miss her she's always playing the infield 2nd ,3rd or short. I KEEP HEARING THAT THE OC BATBUSTERS '96 WILL HAVE A NEW COACH -- ANY TRUTH TO THE RUMOR? I SEE POSTINGS FOR TRYOUTS, SO MAYBE THE HAMMER HASN'T COME DOWN YET ON JESSE..??

AND A COMMENT TO CJS50 ON AIMEE'S RESPECT FOR PHIL BRUDER, IS THAT BEFORE OR AFTER HE BRINGS OUT THE LOUNGE CHAIRS TO COACH OUTSIDE OF THE DUGOUT, BEFORE OR AFTER HE TELLS A TEAM THAT HE WOULD TAKE THEIR BENCH FOR HIS ENTIRE 10U TEAM OR AFTER HE TELLS A 10 YEAR OLD THAT HE WOULD PUT A BETTER CATCHER IN THE GAME IF HE HAD ONE? GIVE ME A BREAK!
