12U ASA nationals brackets are out/ who's your top 10

Actually, I think Indiana Thunder that was at ASA last year is now Indiana Thunder 96 and is at NSA in Columbus as we "speak" and played this AM to get to the Elite 8 (dk how they did)

The CT Eliminators ( 12u black-- '96)went to PONY nationals in Ohio this past week ; finished just outside the sweet 16 in a 49 team field. They missed making the "sweet 16" in a 5-4 , 3 inning ITB game that lasted just over 2 hours and 15 minutes.

She came up twice in ITB and was walked intentionally both times ; opposing coach made a comment to her after the game that they were afraid of her and did not want to give her a chance to end the game with one big swing!

ASA is really in the crapper around here; tournaments are far and few between.

They earned the berth at PONY nationals last yr by finishing runner up to the LADY LASERS from Ohio in a 5-3 final. They lost on a 2 run hr over the lf fence hit in the bottom of the 5th.

She finished the season with 15 hr's; not too bad for an 11 yr old!!:)




we were trying to figure out how to get them to AL but it just wasn't in the cards this yr as we just got back on Thurs from OH.


we are definitely looking into ASA more not only for the coming season but also for their first yr of 14u.

I thought Connecticut Eliminators was on the list, but I don't see them anymore...anyone know where they went? I wanted to see the big bomber...

Scioto Co Wild Thangs (ohio) , my dd's NSA team just played the ind Thunder 95 in the round of 8 at the NSA's day before yesterday. They beat us 8-4. They lost their next game to Quad City Il. Finished 6-8th somewhere. good team but needs more girls capable of driving the ball. Fine lefty pitcher is still with them.

We are with the ohio stingrays for the ASA WS. MD
