In reference to your thread title, don't be so hard on your DD. I'm no pitching coach and certainly no expert on the topic but from the photo she appears to be executing the pitch in the style she was taught resonably well; decent balance, not bent way over in the waist or making a swim move with her glove hand.
It does appear she pitches around her hips though, my DD of similar build to yours learned that style in her first year of pitching which is frequently taught at many rec league clinics. We found a great pitching coach who undid that and she has since made a quantum leap in her development. You DD appears to be athletic enough to benefit from some professional coaching, I'd suggest looking into it.
