I was wondering the same....although, I'm guessing SS is covering on the play.

Tough to remember, she was first batter of the first at bat in a game that went 5 innings with a final score of 23-10. Lots of stolen bases, I think DD had 5 or 6. However, I do think the SS was covering, I would hope so anyway.

And the coach sitting on the bucket is thinking..... Up 13 runs, stealing third. Im gonna call the earhole pitch in a sec!

I say the ball goes by. F6 ain't close enough to get the ball that close.

Either that or this is a throw from F4 and the big dude in the background is rolling around in the ground a split-second later!

First, it's HS ball, if the pitcher could hit an earhole they wouldn't be down 13-0 now would they
Second, this was the first batter of the game so the score was 0-0 at this point.
Third, we all get to go home if up by 15 after 3, so yeah, we're stealing.

3 hours for a 5 inning game is pretty long, imagine if it'd been 7 innings?

I thought I already answered this, pretty sure the SS was on her way to cover it and just didn't arrive in time. Again, 23-10, were not talking GOLD level players here.
