New travel-ball coach 10U; type of ball used?

What's on your mind?

by gserrano » Sun Aug 02, 2015 5:48 pm

I see several types of 11" balls. Which is the standard 10U ball used by travel teams in friendlies and tourneys? WORTH RIF or WORTH Dream Seam?

Thanks.

I've seen Dream Seams, Dudleys, and a few others. Definitely no RIFs. I generally don't even like RIFs for practice, because they bounce differently than the harder balls.

Any feedback on the Sterling Softballs? I received a sales email from the company stating they are widely used.

Sterling is a good ball as well, and I would add it to the above list...

It's been a while, but I think they were yellow.
