Before I go into production, I need to understand a couple things.
When starting pitch on mound, the flap must be tucked under so toe flap does not extend over rubber.
Once the pitch starts if pitcher is a double planter she may extend trailing foot beyond rubber as long as toe touch remains in contact.
Once air born may the flap act like a spring and help lift or assist the pitcher in upward, forward progress?
Do you think spring loaded retractable and team colors will help in sales.
Is there a limit to how long the flap can be?
PS I mean no disrespect for the pitcher Miss Katie, this is something a coach initiates, and implements, it is also the NCAA and umpires who allowed it.
I believe they have made a mistake.
Would love to see video of how this works in action.
I see further, because I stand on the shoulders of giants
