Valley Tribe 12U is easily the best team out of SFV.

In fact... well, what do you mean by "more travel teams available"? What teams? Unless there was a gusher of new teams started in the past week, the pickings are very slim.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

Their is a 12U Valley Breeze team. Great organization. Their 18 Gold team was one of the few 18 Gold teams that qualified for ASA nationals last year. The 12U team practices with the 18 Gold team. The 18 Gold team has great coaches and they help with the 12U team.

Was'nt Breeze just 1 18u team and they merged with LadyHawks in Dec. & just started a 12u team. Is your DD on it?

Nice of you to refer to a 18 Gold team as a 18u team. I guess as the manager of Valley Tribe 12U you don't know the difference yet. And don't worry Valley Breeze will do just fine even against the Mighty Valley Tribe 12U of the San Fernando Valley. Good Luck To all 12U's in the valley.

Mayhem 12u is out of the Conejo Valley, Diamonds Cheek is out of Simi Valley. There is also a SoCal Storm 12u team out of Simi Valley.

I know there hasn't been a GUSHER of new teams. There does seem to be a little more to choose from than there was for the winter/spring 08 season. Girls just don't have to tryout for the Valley Tribe (even though the consensus is they are the BEST, I think they placed in nationals) or go to Downy, or Orange County to play IF they are good enough. I am glad there are more opportunities locally. Great discussion, lots of sarcasm though...it is just softball though right????
