...November 2005: 14 year old Kenzie Fowler threw CONSISTENT 66-68 on multiple radar guns

Holy crap! I've read several stories about her, but good grief that's fast for 14!!

My 7yr old can thow in th mid 40's, my 13yr old can throw in the low 60's. It just depends on the kid. Focus on the proper mechanics and everything will fall into place.

DD was clocked by her pitching coach Ernie Parker right after she won 12"s at 62-64 consistantly. So I know it's possible.

It aint braggin if you can walk the walk. If you know someone who can, learn from them. When my kid was 7 - 8 years old, there were some outstanding pitchers that she got to watch. She is not in their category but having those kind of kids to lookup to and watch was a big deal.

My 11 yo throws low 60's and my 13 yo throws low 70's, both have 35 mph change ups that look just like the heat and all of there 37 different breaking pitches move atleast a foot and they hit there spots 100% of the time, I don't have to stay on them to practice, or do there home work, or clean there room and neither likes boys and they think my space is the devil, they don't back talk or ever act beotchy and when not playing or practicing they work full time and volunteer at old folks homes and homeless shelters, and read to the blind and read in sign to the deaf.

BTW that low 60 and low 70 is with VA radar, on TX radar it'd be 65 and 75, and with CA radar it'd be low 70's and low 80's.

It aint braggin when you walk the walk. Sounds like 'she' can.

I'm inclined to believe that BJ's kid did, and can, so if that's the she you're referring to, we're of like minds.

However, I'm pretty sure qwik is FOS. His kid was nowhere close to to mid 50's last year... and then after he posted the results from Dynasty TFT last weekend... well, I was there Sunday and none of the P's in 14U had the kind of velocity he's claiming...

So I have to assume he's using one of those special radar guns, and drives a really big truck to compensate for other shortcomings. :o

btw, best wishes to the Nemesis Elite girl who was carted off after the collision at 1st base.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.
