impacted colleges and the Student Athlete

Questions and Discussions Regarding the College Recruiting process

by lovesoftball22 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 1:04 pm

How has the state budgets and impacted schools -ie having trouble getting the classes needed to graduate affect the student athlete? Has anyone had any issues with not being able to get classes to stay full time/student athlete? Do the coaches help get classes for their players, do they get any preference?

Just curious if anyone has had any issues with their DD college choice.

Student athletes usually get priority registration so it has not been an issue as of yet with my DD.

True. You need to check with the school. I know of kids taking non major related classes to maintain full time status. Can be a pain, but also an opportunity to expand their knowledge base and try new things.

This should be an important factor when selecting a school.
