What happened to the coach????

Was talking with a friend about how long college softball coaches last. It got me thinking......

Of the 40+ schools we were in contact with during the recruiting process, 8 of them had coaching changes(an additional 6 more changed since my DD comitted)

What do you do if the coach you have ben dealing with is gone?? It is easier when an assistant takes over, but what about a new regime?? It is like starting over....

Guess it can be just as bad if the coach leaves after you join?

Please share experiences and suggestions for those who may be going through tis now.
