Better question: why were they at this tournament?? They were run-ruled 5 out of 10 games and could not field a team for the last game, they went 0-11 for the two weekends. Interestingly, the Florida team has all CA players except for one.

Better question: why were they at this tournament?? They were run-ruled 5 out of 10 games and could not field a team for the last game, they went 0-11 for the two weekends. Interestingly, the Florida team has all CA players except for one.

According to a school press release, the flu bug and some injuries hit the team hard, leaving them unable to play the final game. It wasn't real clear but almost sounded like they played a couple of games with 8 players.

As for why, I'm sure they were giving all the Cali girls a chance to play in front of family and friends, along with the recruiting benefits.
