by jonriv » Wed Feb 04, 2015 7:52 am

I'll be down there(fpr the last time :( ) March 13-March 20 in Clermont, Florida. Nice event with top DIII teams from the Northeast and Midwest escaping the cold(DD has 3 feet in Boston) A chance to see some great softball and size-up the competition.

Any buckateers going to be there?

Uno, any chance of t-shirsts for your East Coast/DIII bretheren? :D

Making the trip from California to see our daughter play her first year in college. Looking forward to seeing some softball and meeting all her new teammates families. Go Jeff's

Nothing better than starting with two wins and dd hitting two doubles( except maybe the 80 degree weather)

Still down here. Weather has been great. Mid 80s and sunny. Softball good too. Fielding a little rough at first as players adjust to being outside on dirt again!

Hope you're having fun and taking it all in on your last go-round, JR.

Thanks for sharing the story about DD and her former HS teammates...good stuff!

It has been great!!! Best weather in the four years coming down. I was afraid it might be bittersweet, but I am enjoying the softball more than I ever have. It has been a great experience. My Dad came down today to watch games and will see two more tomorrow. I am very proud of my DD and it is a privledge to watch her play.
