Where have all the coaches gone?

I was looking over some of the team websites from school's my daughter had contact with during her recruitiong days and realized tha more than half the coaches were no longer there(Three had left during the recruitiong period) Anyone know what the turnover rate is for coaches? Was an important factor in the recruiting factor that frankly I had not really thought of.
