My Dd will be there mar 8-14. This is her second year and we went down there last spring.

As we prepare for yet another winter storm. . I got my dd's schedule for Florida. . Spring is near. Not sure about a THIRD game against Tufts, but a game against Hamilton gives her to play against a former rival and also a former teammate

We'll be there next year. DD will playing on the East coast next year.

We may be there. Can't say I am thrilled about it.

The softball and facilities are fine. However, if you are in an emergency you are in trouble. We had a girl two years ago that had a major collision, severe, out cold on the ground not moving severe... we had multiple people dialing 911 while multiple other people immediately got face to face with the organizers to get an ambulance. The organizers initially refused...refused and balked at the thought of needing an ambulance. I think someone encouraged them with the comment about a civil suit. When an ambulance did arrive... 15 minutes later... with the hospital is 500 yards from the field... the organizers refused to let the ambulance onto the field (to center field) because it might leave tracks in the grass (weather was dry, but that's irrelevant). By the time the EMT folks finally got a gurney through the outfield she was semi-conscious. And, of course, she bounced on the gurney all the way back to the ambulance in the usual neck brace/head restraints . She was rushed to the hospital, in ICU, then finally out, and eventually recovered

If anyone at NTC wants to take issue with this comment, please go for it, a$$holes. That's my opinion, like it or not. Oh, I have 30-40 witnesses. Nothing but gross incompetence by the people running the show.

I remember that story from last year- you are not kidding on how close the hospital is.

Are games are split between the main complex and Hancock park.

Haven't seen the schedule yet. I think the team is really hoping to get a couple shots at Tufts. Interestingly enough, the last time they played they lost based on a couple errors. But, they hit their star pitcher as if it were no big deal. Go figure. Have you seen the schedule yet ????

We're playing Tufts three times- once in Florida and then later up here

GREAT !!! I hope all the girls are growling, focused and having fun. And by then Connecticut will be thawed out. I think the reports of the next ice age might be overcooked.

By the bye, there is a large hotel (Holiday Inn Express???) that is very close to the fields. If you want close proximity, that's an option.

What's the early season perspective on your daughters team ???? Any news ???
