Earliest allowed date and maximum #contests by division (per NCAA manuals):
- D1 - The Thursday that is 14 weeks before the Thursday immediately preceding the start of the NCAA Division I Softball Championship (2/6/14, 2/5/15 and 2/11/16). Max 56 contests.
- D2 - 2/1 (fixed date). Max 56 contests.
- D3 - September 7 or the institution’s first day of classes for the fall term, whichever is earlier. Max 40 contests.

Will be hanging out in Mickey's neighborhood (by that I mean Orlando, FL) for the first game of the season on 2/28.
Since older DD has graduated it will be really different without Ms. Nutter or Mr. Kajikawa!
