I predict....low ticket sales, slow concession revenue, a few kids who say, "screw it, I ain't playing anymore", and some decent to mediocre softball. What say you jonbovi?

Wait till G-man comes online - his kids play/played in that area, though I dont know what division, he will know about those guys. I have a player that went D3 (texas lutheran university) in softball and vball, though last time I talked to her mom, i think she was going to fade to only softball. I dont know her conference name, thats why I asked about those divisions, hoping to go see her play in the next month or so. TLU is about 120 miles north of here.

I predict that these conferences will give the student athlete the chance to play the game they love while getting the education of a lifetime.

ft, the way the D3 schools are selling themselves to our athletes is "Play the sport you love while still having a real college experience. Here, education comes first." As i get chances to talk to the kids i know, i will try and find out what - in their experience - is true.
