How Do You Explain PGF Nationals Level vs ASA, etc. to the M

Questions and discussions involving PGF

Hmm, good question. There are good teams that play in ASA and the others, but I would have to say that the talent pool is much deeper in PGF.

After having experienced it, here is what I would say.

Even the "so-so" teams at the tournament are pretty damn good.
The top teams are just deep. Their LF and RF can cover as much ground as a top CF.
Just about any ball hit in the air that is not a laser line drive will be caught.
Pitchers have great control and every team seems to have a catcher with a very good arm,
IF another team happens to make a mistake, you better capitalize, because as soon as you do -they will.

And yes, go compare how teams who finished top 4 or 5 did against top 20 teams at PGF... I bet not very well.

Overall it was awesome. And as a measuring stick it was great... Had some girls who can't wait to get back and compete at this level again, had some that had their eyes opened and are going to look for other sports!
