If 18s moved up a week, that would put them the same week as ASA 18 Gold. Would prevent teams from playing both as some has done the last two years.

It would have no effect on the 16U teams that have been doing it...

I heard they are adding a second week and will hold 14U/16U one week and break the 18HS into Gold and 18A the following week and expand the # of teams in all divisions, not sure about what happens to 12U if they will move to another location or mix with the 14U/16U week or even if my info was good...

18-Under Fast Pitch National Championship will be played in Clearwater, Fla.

The other ASA/USA Softball sites include the 18U in Sterling, Va.,
16U in Sunnyvale, Calif.,
14U in Normal, Ill.,
12U in Chattanooga, Tenn., and
10U in Bowling Green, Ky.

For the Girls’ 10-Under, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U Junior Olympic (JO) slow pitch tournaments, North Mankato, Minn., will host.

I believe that the SoCal A's 16U also played 18Gold ASA and placed 3rd or 4th.. and then played PGF 16U..

Anyone else heard any updates about the 2013 plans? it would be very nice to know ahead of time to be able to plan for our team. I think it would be great to move 16U & 14U up 1 week before ASA/USA, then many Top teams would go to both, especially with 16U being in Cali. I know our 16U & 14U team would definitely play both.

Is it confirmed that PGF 14/16 is going to be the same time as ASA/USA Gold? If not confirmed, I'd like to request this not to happen, some teams at 16U would like to take a shot at ASA/USA Gold Nationals and do 16U PGF just like the So Cal Athletics and Power Surge did last year. Showcasing is in the fall/winter, and in June and early July, but Mid to End of July is about winning a National Championship, not just playing cause coaches are there, that's only a bonus!!!
