Except in baseball- all the players are in that situation. In softball, only a few are using doctored bats.

Using illegal equipment is the equivalent of admitting "I can't succeed with cheating." Not a very strong foundation to build upon as they prepare for college and the real world beyond.

??? Are you saying that because the pro's use wood bats? The new BBCOR bats perform like wood bats. In fact, I've heard some of the wood bats exceed the BBCOR standard, but they're exempt from it.
