12u Qualifiers Canceled

Just wondering why many of the 12u Qualifiers have been canceled. Does anyone know the answer.

Scott, because you are a class individual and were so nice and complimentary of my DD at the Adidas tryouts a few months back I did the research on PGF's site.

I came up with the following:

Cancelled
Indiana would have been held May 25-27
Texas this past weekend
Colorado June 15-17
Minnesota June 15-17
Southeast June 15-17
Northeast July 6-8
North Texas July 6-8

That means that the only ones that were/will be held for 12U are SoCal, Arizona, Nor Cal and Northwest.

My apologies...apparently I read the word "why" in your question as "how".

As to "why" all of the 12U qualifiers were cancelled I can only guess that one of the main reasons is that parents aren't ready to travel all the way across the country for this in its first year.

Hopefully a PGF rep and/or 12U parents from the places that had to be cancelled will chime in.

Thanks for the kind words. Hope your daughter is doing well.

As for Premier I am just worried that the 12u division will be mostly a local division as all the cancelations of the Qualifiers across the country. Really want to play the best throughout the country and not just SoCal.
