Premier lists that only 2 berths are given for 14u in AZ qualifier, so berths were only given to FC Kay & OC Elite correct?

Your correct, made the change for the 14's. Now I see why teams went to Texas where there were 4 berths...

Looks like 18u Lakewood Firecrackers played their first game Friday, then one game in LB on Saturday, then on Sunday played at 8, 10, 12, 2, 4, and possibly more after that.

Why weren't there more games in the Loser's Bracket played on Saturday? Was it to keep all the teams in their hotels for an extra night?

In any case congratulations on earning a berth, they sure had their work cut out for them, and here's hoping none of the players had to get up for finals Monday morning after that schedule and the drive home.

This should have been played out in two days, but I guess if you chase berths out of your area, then that is the price you pay.

The Friday game for LW Firecrackers was a forfeit (given a 7-0 score) due to cif, finals, graduation, grad nite etc. Only 7 players were available. We started the tourny on sat in the losers bracket when 11 of our players were available to be there.

This was one of the chief complaints about ASA 18G in OKC, that teams were only playing one game a day and the tourney was taking several days longer than it had to. The reason many put forth was that ASA was milking players/parents by forcing them to stay in town longer.

The 18U tournament only had 2 fields, and the winners bracket played out on Saturday, and losers on Sunday. The other 4 field complex was hosting 16's and 14's and still played out pretty much the same way.
