PGF Recruiting Website

Questions and discussions involving PGF

by SoftballG » Thu Apr 12, 2012 1:07 pm

Got a forwarded email from our previous coach about PGF starting their own recruiting website, anyone know if this is legit? Looks like it is to me but wanted more info from all the experts here.

ROFLMAO! Everything with these guys is about money. Their latest is yet another of those stupid recruiting websites where they host your profile. For a fee of course. $ucker born every minute, right guys $$$$$ LOL

These types of websites will not get you recruited. You don't need them.
Ladies, if a man tells you he will fix it, he will fix it. There is no reason to remind him about it every six months.

The new PGF recruiting site is nothing but another way for them to squeeze money out of us. They are looking for suckers so they can pocket more money. Look at what they have done. $1,500 price on a national tournament but they invite almost 1/2 the teams. Originally they were going to move the nationals around to different states, lie, they never planned to move it, it is a California event and that is where nationals will be until it crumbles. Do not step in the BS and waste money on the PGF recruiting site, all you will get out of it is another bill. They complained about ASA and they are no better

Two thumbs down to PGF

I sent that e-mail to my parents so that THEY could have the information and read the info and take action if they see fit. We try to keep our parents informed as to everything going on in the recruiting world as we like to be involved in guiding them so that they're daughters can play at the next level.

Unfortunately, all of it costs $. It is what it is.

We look forward to 16U PGF Nats this summer.

What it is is money parents don't need to spend.

Sending Emails to schools and coaches doesn't cost anything.
Sending your profile doesn't cost anything.
Posting a video online doesn't cost anything.
Calling coaches doesn't add any cost.
etc etc
The only cost is travel ball, and visits/camps once you have narrowed your selection.

Online recruiting sites like this are unnecessary. The guys at PGF have been around long enough to know that. So what's the real purpose of this, other than making money off parents who don't know any better?

Really? Websites cost $. Hosting costs $. Content costs $. Time costs $.

Spending the time to shoot or paying someone to shoot the video costs $. Taking the time to e-mail, put together, call, etc. costs $. It ALL costs $.

Did you actually read the content before crying the "its stealing money from our dumb, unsuspecting, parents"?

If you don't think PGF is here to stay, with the powers that be behind it, being that it is THEIR teams/coaches/participants that are placing the grand majority of players at the Top 25 level, then you just ignant...

Trophy, if you coach a team, or if your DD plays on a team, what are your/their plans this summer?

Does it involve PGF in any way? If so, then like the rest of us, you must be just another one of the parents that don't know any better...

Hmm, when did making money become a bad thing? If you don't want to participate....then don't....pretty basic. It is up to pgf to succeed....just like any business.

Try understanding what I wrote. Your reading comprehension leaves something to be desired.

Do you think Haning, Hay, or any coach gets their kids recruited because of a website?

And you're an 18G coach? Good one!
