didnt see the game, but heard the guy calling the gold game was darren sutton, son of don and play by play announcer for the arizona diamondbacks. he flew in friday night after the game and probably flew out right after the gold game to try to make the dodgers/diamondbacks game that night. i doubt he spent much time preparing and after youve watched 100+ baseball games in a row, i figure it would be easy to call the ball by the wrong name. i dont mean to stick up for him though because he made enough money on that game that he should be better

My favorite was in the 1st inning when he said the batter took a fast ball that rose high.
