Yeah, with all the huge corporate sponsors that fastpitch enjoys, let's all ridicule one that could have a huge impact on the game. Let's complain because they might make money... we all know ASA and PGF aren't making any money, right? And let's bitch about how they tie-in a day at the amusement park, because, well, how could you ever possibly have fun at Disney World?

Who owns ESPN? Disney? Bah, screw 'em!

Great attitude. Little wonder the game is thriving.

Let's face it. Most of us parents have to take vacation days to go to these things. Where do I want to spend my vacation? SoCal, Florida, Hawaii. ASA can keep Midland, TX, Oklahoma and Alabama.
To each their own.

It comes down to simple economics. . .my DD and DH can go to the Premier for airfare of $600, which means they can actually afford the hotel and rental car, plus some fun stuff if her team departs the tournament early.

Airfare cost to 16A Nationals in Chattanooga, TN? About $1600 pp round trip.

I don't know how many college recruiters will watch the 16U division at PGF, but I have to beliefve that some will show up. . .

They will. In droves.
And rental cars.

The list is here, still growing, and there are usually quite a few that show up in addition...

Amazed as ASA is never going anywhere as long as college supports it! Good try PGF keep working on it as you are gaining ground but never will you over come your opponent.

College coaches don't suport Premier, ASA , AFA, NSA, or any other organization. They go to where the players are. They don't care who puts the tournament on. So I suggest players write your letters and you'll for sure see some college coaches there.
