The Penny deal could make the difference for the post season run.
I think BART is better than any public transportation we have in SoCal.

I heard once that stastically, Dallas has a bigger % of their population that is gay than Frisco.

So how is that for all of you Texas, NorCal board poachers??

Probably said by someone from Houston.

Certainly makes for a shorter list...

Here's my short list of what isn't wrong with Frisco:

1) The cable cars.

2) The Irish coffee at the Buena Vista.

3) Sunday Brunch at The Mark Hopkins.

Personally - I couldn't care less what you call the town. I'm not a big fan of it anyway. Who wants to go to a place where the summers are freezing and the winters are too. As Mark Twain was rumored to have once said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco". Being that I now live in the Sacramento area, I couldn't agree more!!!

The good news is that "Frisco" doesn't represent NorCal any more than South Central or Riverside represents SoCal. The bay area is decent but as a whole is pretty crowded. Like most bigger cities, the surrounding area is a lot nicer than the city itself.

Hillsborough -> Great place but a little cold and expensive! For the money, I'd rather live in Atherton or Palo Alto.

Belmont -> used to live there! Great place - warmer too!

Sacramento -> MUCH warmer, no earthquakes and a lot lower cost!
Being from NorCal, what do I know anyway???

Probably heard wrong..and unlike Frisco, I'd bet this dude wouldn't last long in South Dallas.

You're probably right there Joe!!

Maybe this is why Frisco doesn't have any good softball teams. It looks like all the kids of gay couples are in Texas!!
