It looks like a bunch of Norcal teams did well at the St Paddy's Day tournament in Las Vegas. Good job! I need some time to look at all the results. It's going to be a busy lunch to figure it out and make an updated list.

Freebilly.....may I suggest that you get a hobby or go to the gym during your lunch break? It's March 16th. The list doesn't take on any meaning until around mid-May.

Several new teams made the list or moved high this week because of their finishes at the Las Vegas tournament. Nevada Stealth made it the deepest of all the Norcal teams, so I put them at the top. CC Dirtdogs won the consolation in the Gold bracket over AASA Maglalang, so I put them 2 & 3. The Firecrackers and Salinas Storm also made the Gold bracket to round out my top 5 for this week.

1. Nevada Stealth
2. CC Dirtdogs Davis
3. AASA Maglalang
4. Norcal Firecrackers 02
5. Salinas Storm Gonzalez
6. Breeze 03
7. Grapettes Guevara
8. Lady Hustle
9. Lady Magic
10.. Breeze 02
11. Norcal Bownet
12. Cal Badgers
13. AASA Nguyen
14. AASA Norwood
15. Foothill Gold 03
14. OBS Monarchs Calvo
15. Universal Fastpitch 02
16. All-American Mizuno Morabito
17. West Sac Attack
18. Norcal Smackers
19. Salinas Wildcats
20. Hype Fastpitch

I'm surprised to see only 2 norcal teams are coming down for PGF this weekend....
Thought there would be more.

I'm not so sure consolation games add a lot of value to ranking. I'm not sure teams put there best team out for a game that doesn't mean anything. I think at that point most coaches are going to give all there girls some work.

That may be the case in some tournaments, it in this case the "consolation championship" was for 3rd place. Dirt Dogs placed 3rd in the tournament and AASA placed 4th.

Freebilly.....this latest list is the most absurd thing I have ever seen on the Bucket, and there has been some crazy stuff. There is absolutely no rational thought put into this mess that you have authored, but at least it provides some amusement for those who understand who the top teams really are.

Overwhelmed. Let me see if I understand what your saying. If a team wins three games in the championship bracket. Then looses. They are done. If a team gets bounced to the consolidation bracket in the first round but they play through to the consolidation game they take 3rd. Seems like fuzzy logic.
