Recording a clip from streaming video

Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.

What tool do you guys use to record a clip , not a screen shot, but a clip, like a 10 second cut of a streaming video.

That is a great question.
I am computer illiterate, but would be nice to know and use during away games that have live streaming.

TBH...and its using low tech brain using high tech eqpt.

I pull up the video on my computer...and use my cell phone to record it...
Then I can upload my cell video to my Youtube or photobucket acct or simply save the video to my HD and can even put it on removable media

There is a program called CAMSTUDIO that will frame grab anything on your screen. it is good for grabbing small sections of games. There is another program called FREEYOUTUBEDOWNLOADER that will let you grab non streamed items from you tube. Another program called MOVAVI is good for capturing streams but it is not free,
