Several college "tournaments" this weekend were canceled due to weather and teams have scrambled to replace the games.

RICHMOND, Ky. – This weekend's Eastern Kentucky University Softball Invitational, which was to feature Western Michigan, Kent State, Louisville and the host Colonels, has been canceled.
Monday's severe winter storm dumped around a foot of snow on Richmond and much of Kentucky. With temperatures expected to plunge into single-digit territory, that snow is unlikely to melt in the next few days.

After taking the worsening weather conditions into consideration, the Tar Heel Invitational scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled.
Campbell, Farleigh Dickinson, Lehigh and Radford were scheduled to play.

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State softball team has canceled the Hyatt Place Challenge, scheduled for this weekend at Dail Stadium, due to inclement weather in the Raleigh area.
Colgate, Georgia Southern, North Dakota State, Saint Francis (PA) and Saint Joseph's were scheduled to play.

Charlotte, N.C. - Due to the cold wintry weather that has hit the Charlotte area this week, the 49er Invite has been canceled this weekend.
Dayton, Rider and Western Carolina were scheduled to play.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tiger Classic has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The three day softball event had been scheduled for Friday, Feb. 20-Sunday, Feb. 22 at Tiger Field. Tennessee State was playing host to Bradley, Loyola-Chicago, Miami (Ohio), Northern Kentucky and St. Bonaventure for the 15-game scheduled classic.

STATESBORO, GA. – Following the cancellation of NC State's tournament and numerous other competitions around the country due to poor weather, Georgia Southern Softball has graciously opened its doors for the six-team Eagle Classic II this weekend at the friendly confines. Georgia Southern, UNC, NC State, Bradley, Eastern Kentucky, and Dayton will play 13 games over three days in the new tournament.
