D.C. Public Schools homework assignment asks 6th graders to compare Bush to Hitler

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/sep/10/dc-public-schools-homework-assignment-compare-bush/

After reading that article, how would you answer? Pick one

A) Wow, what a great assignment, I wish my kid went to that school.
B) Hitler was a bad dude, Bush was worse. How dare they make Hitler look bad by comparing him to Bush.
C) That teacher needs to be fired and I need to pull my kid and enroll her in a private school.
D) My kid would scribble out Bush's name and put O's name instead. I would have to pick her up during the day after being suspended.
E) Interesting comparison.

I think this looks like yet another example of the rampant disrespect for the office of the POTUS that has been displayed for some time now by both extreme sides of the aisle.

Come on, no school would ever include O in such an assignment.

Left wing ideologues have no boundaries and need to be weeded out.
However this is Washington DC this thought is not only approved of, it is encouraged.
I would be pulling my kid ASAP. I would not be silent and I would not be polite.
I met all my dd's teachers. I met regularly with them. I sent them emails to let them know not only was I watching my dd, but I was also watching them.
It did not take long for me to identify the extreme left wing loons.
In college now she has already shared stories of professors and their leanings.

There was also a story of a school just yesterday that would not allow the dad to wear his military uniform on campus.
They got called out and changed their tune real quick.
The mind set is still there.
I see further, because I stand on the shoulders of giants

I would pull them out. Luckily I live in an area where the teachers are not as loony as others. Kids are doing fine.

Worst class I took was a Women's Studies class. Really thought I would learn about key women in history, but all of the lectures were about how crappy men were.

Ask your kid who Hitler was, ...
Then Stalin or Mao...Paul Pot...They probably havent heard of them...

Compared to Stalin and Mao, Hitler was minor league...
O, has said he admired Mao...
WTH?

My answer would be D.
