Jonriv where do you get this stuff..lmao New York Cities crime rate has risen the last 4 years. Go to CityData.com please. If you look, instead of listening, you can easily see for yourself. New York is also way above the US average, so no we don't want to learn from the them. All because murders are down doesn't mean crime is down. Shootings are up 13% this year. Many credit the decrease in murder across the nation to the advancements in the medical field. Leave your nice little bubble and drive around San Bernardino or Pomona for a few hours. Oh yeah, while you're there stop and ask the locals for info regarding crimes that are being planned. Let me know how that works out.

To be fair, the early results of de Blasio’s experiment are mixed. Through Aug. 24, murder fell by 11 percent from last year’s record low, and overall major crimes are down by 3.5 percent.
But shootings are up 9.6 percent, and the 899 people shot this year are 74 more than during the same period last year. If the shooters become more accurate or prolific, the murder rate will skyrocket.
