Hey Dugout Dad if you add all of Obama's Executive orders doesn't that constitute a degree of fascism?

Obama has issued less executive orders per time served than any president since Grover Cleveland.

Hey Jtat32, maybe I had all his lies mixed up with executive orders, or maybe he just makes false & misleading promises, or perhaps it's the number of things he continues to blame on the past administration but that's just what the country gets when we elect someone based on the color of their skin & their ability to read a teleprompter instead of experience who then surrounds themselves with people who have no real word experience, or who are liars & cheaters as well. Don't even get me started on the pontus's wife's lifestyle costing tax paying Americans far too much. I mean I gotta hand it to the guy , he's now a 1%er & he went from being an organizer to commander in chief faster than you can go from the fryer to the cashier @ MickeyD's

An executive order to subvert an act of Congress is not the same as an executive order to name a local post office after some local hero. The number of executive orders means nothing, it is the weight of the executive order. What he did with the DREAM Act is a perfect example. Essentially he passed a law by executive order that the Congress had rejected. He has he made many changes to obamacare using executive order, completely by-passing congress. He mocks The Constitution.

In 1944, John T. Flynn published As We Go Marching was a well-renowned journalist and political commentator who wrote for publications such as The New Republic, Harper's Magazine, and Collier's Weekly.

In his book, Flynn analyzed the fascist regimes of Hitler and Mussolini and listed eight common characteristics between them. His “Eight Marks of Fascism” are as follows:

Point 1. The government is totalitarian because it acknowledges no restraint on its powers.
Point 2. Government is a de facto dictatorship based on the leadership principle.
Point 3. Government administers a capitalist system with an immense bureaucracy.
Point 4. Producers are organized into cartels in the way of syndicalism.
Point 5. Economic planning is based on the principle of autarky.
Point 6. Government sustains economic life through spending and borrowing.
Point 7. Militarism is a mainstay of government spending.
Point 8. Military spending has imperialist aims.

Aside from offering a comprehensive historical analysis on fascism, Flynn’s book also served as a critique of FDR’s New Deal policies, which Flynn feared were similar to the policies of the fascist regimes overseas.

Those who don't have the time to read an entire book can read Lew Rockwell’s article “The Fascist Threat.” In it, Rockwell alludes to Flynn’s “Eight Marks” to provide a condensed analysis of fascism while also offering a scathing critique of the Bush and Obama administrations.

Both pieces are highly recommended to those who wish to understand fascism and what implications it has today.

Black widow pulling out Thomas Sowell !! wow! I wish every American could read a few of his "Sowellisms" ...of course the left will say a "think tank" like the Hoover Institute @ Stanford is just loaded with like minded right agenda pushing people when in reality is not that at all.

JR
No revolution is ever the same, no uprising is ever the same, no collapse is ever the same. Open your eyes boy, ours is coming. There is a reason why the feds want our guns and it is not about keeping us safe.
Biggest reason why it is coming:
