Classic! However, in real life, Carlin was a big believer in having a good work ethic in order to achieve your aspirations.
I'm not surprised by the results of the research and how they presented them. I think it came up short in capturing and categorizing organized interest groups. I would have liked to seen it done by typical political block (e.g. business, environmentalist, labor).
I also question whether they weighted each policy issue by its impact. If it was extended to cover recent changes, I wouldn't give Obamacare the same weight as a minor issue. I'd also break the policy issues into categories (business/labor, environmental, non-economic).
